Pulled Beef

  • 700 g cubes of stewing beef
  • 2 tbsp. (30 mL) tomato paste
  • 2 cups (500 mL) beef broth
  • 2 tbsp. (30 mL) maple syrup
  • 1 lime (zest & juice) 

Spices

  • 3 tbsp. (45 mL) paprika
  • 2 tbsp. (30 mL) dried oregano (or dried herbs of your choice)
  • 2 tbsp. (30 mL) onion powder
  • 2 tbsp. (10 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 pinch (1 ml) cayenne pepper

Coleslaw

  • ¼ white cabbage, thinly sliced
  • ¼ red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup (125 mL) parsley, chopped

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp. (30 mL) plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp. (10 ml) Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp. (10 ml) apple cider vinegar (or vinegar of your choice)
  • 2 tbsp. (10 ml) maple syrup
